Living The Bream
I set out initially to target the old scaley carp which are known to inhabit the water, but within seconds of casting my rods at 80 yards to an overhanging tree line and deep margin it became evident that the lakes other legendary inhabitants had other plans!
Over the next 48 hours I went on to take no fewer than 14 specimen Bream including four into double figures, the biggest being a monster and new PB of 10lb 8oz!

Prior to this I had only ever caught one Bream which was tiny by comparison and to catch so many monstrous Bream in one session, some as big as dinner plates was beyond anything I could have imagined!
Although Bream were not my intended target on this occasion I welcomed each and everyone and although they are not sometimes welcomed by all, they were simply beautiful and should be recognised on their own merit and as magnificent creatures.

Definitely a session to remember despite being covered in slime lol 😂 now home for a bath 🛀 ❤️
